OTTAWA, ON — MindBridge has submitted formal comments to the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in response to its Request for Public Comment on Strategic Priorities (PCAOB No. 2026-001).
Drawing on experience supporting audit firms with AI-powered financial analysis, the submission outlines recommendations to help the profession responsibly adopt AI-enabled audit procedures while maintaining audit quality, professional skepticism, and investor protection.
The recommendations address topics including:
- Technology-assisted analysis (TAA) and full-population testing
- Inspection approaches for AI-assisted audit procedures
- Standard-setting priorities for AI-enabled audit
- International alignment on AI in audit
- The role of technology in modern audit oversight
