Ottawa, July 10, 2018 – After a successful pilot phase with leading universities across North America, MindBridge Analytics Inc. announced today the launch of its University Alliance Program. This initiative will introduce the next generation of auditors to the power of artificial intelligence in augmenting the financial audit process to provide a more effective audit.

Since the Fall of 2017 MindBridge Ai has been collaborating with over 20 leading universities to educate and train accounting students on the use of AI in auditing. The offering combines educational material with hands-on case studies and training where students can learn and experience the power of artificial intelligence in performing a financial analysis using the MindBridge Ai Auditor. The education material used has been incorporated into Advanced Audit, Data Analytics, Accounting Information Systems, and Fraud Investigation courses. The University Alliance Program is offered by MindBridge Ai on a complimentary basis to qualified post-secondary institutions.

Recently recognized by Accounting Today as the 2018 Top New Product – Audit Tools, the Ai Auditor is used by organizations worldwide. The MindBridge Ai Auditor automates the ingestion and analysis of data by leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect errors in financial data while learning from user interaction. Results are presented within minutes through an intuitive interface thus increasing the efficiency, effectiveness and completeness of the analysis, while significantly reducing risk and deep insights for financial auditing, internal assurance and finance departments.

“I introduced the MindBridge tool to over 100 advanced audit (Master of Accounting) students in April 2018 as part of our discussion of data analytics tools and technologies. The experience was extremely positive. As a professor, I would strongly recommend integrating the MindBridge Ai tool into an audit course, particularly at the graduate level”, said Lynn Dikolli, Assistant Professor of Accounting, University of North Carolina.

“Artificial intelligence is changing the way that audits will be conducted. This is happening now by leading CPA firms that are adapting the Ai Auditor to assist them with performing audits more efficiently and effectively”, said Eli Fathi, CEO, MindBridge Ai. Our University Alliance Program is MindBridge’s commitment to prepare the next-gen of auditors for the wave of change that is occurring by using AI within the audit profession.”

“I introduced MindBridge in my Accounting Information Systems curriculum and the experience was overwhelmingly positive”, said Ouafa Sakka, Assistant Professor at Carleton University. “The students were very interested in learning about the use of artificial intelligence in auditing”.
